Accounting as Profession

Accounting is not just adding simple number. It is more complex as you try to go deep in it. Accounting is a thinker profession; a profession needs a lot mind work. On the basis of financial statement management team make decisions for the betterment of company. Methods of accounting has changed from past. Change in accounting methods creates challenge for the accountants. For example, conversion of Canadian GAAP to IFRS. This create a problem for the professional to adopt the new method. But it has some advantages too. New methodology is more comparable and reliable in decision-making.
Accounting is not just a part of business but it is also helpful in other areas. For example, accounting play important role in normal life, for paying tax and to make their personal budget. To sum up, accountant helps to take minor to major decisions.
